PDF Files are preferred
We prefer PDF files - all text, graphics and fonts are part of the single file. It also compresses the file for easier uploading and emailing.
For color accuracy make all files CMYK. RGB is acceptable but we cannot guarantee a color match.
Supply all images with a HIGH resolution (300 DPI), do not use images from the internet.
Please save all PDF files at 300DPI and embed all fonts. Supply your artwork without crop marks or color marks.
Many programs can export your files as a PDF or you will need Adobe Acrobat Distiller (not Adobe Acrobat Reader) to create a PDF. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Distiller, click on the link below to go to Adobe.

All Artwork submitted must be compatible and ready to print.
ATTENTION: Only upload your FINAL artwork files. The proof we send you is to make sure we are printing the CORRECT artwork: it is NOT for correcting your artwork. Please, only upload artwork that is READY TO PRINT. If a Postcard Services designer must work on your file to make it print ready, you will be notified of any charges before work will be done.
RGB COLOR NOTE: Our printers print in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Customer provided files with RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color settings cannot be color matched. Because of the lack of Red and Blue in the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK) print process, the RGB color setting causes blues and purples to print with more magenta and bright on-screen colors such as pinks and greens to print dull. It is difficult to correct a RGB digital file so the customer should supply a CMYK file whenever possible.

Resolution
We require a 300 DPI image for maximum quality. If your resolution is lower than 300 DPI we cannot guarantee the sharpness of your final print. A higher resolution also helps obtain smoother edges on rounded text and graphics.
Font Usage
All fonts must be converted to outlines whenever possible to avoid font substitutions, for PDF files make sure to include all fonts in the file.Any fonts that are being used for areas that will have our Variable Input Technology must be included separately with your file.
Bleed, Trim, Safe Area & Borders
BLEED: In order to get color to the edges of your postcard, you need to have bleed area. All sizes require a 1/8" or a 0.125" extra of color that will be cut off during trimming.TRIM: This 1/8" or a 0.125" area will be cut off during trimming. Borders may appear uneven after trimming.
SAFE AREA: To make sure none of your information is cut off by the trimmer; please keep all text and non-bleed images, 1/8" or .25" in from the Trim Edge of the postcard for safety.
BORDERS: Due to the nature of the trimming process, it is very difficult to even borders or frames on finished cards. If you would like to use a border on the edge of your artwork, it may not be even on every postcard.
